Infrastructure and facilities at The Alwaye Settlement HSS
We have a well-equipped range of facilities and resources for all students to help them achieve a well-rounded education in a student-friendly atmosphere. It is our vision that each student enjoys their years of education and reach their full potential.
The school campus is spread over 65 acres of land. The building and classrooms are spacious, well planned with good architectural features. The sprawling campus is lush green and welcoming.
To provide hands-on practical experience to our students, excellent equipment and facilities are provided in separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology in accordance with the Kerala State curriculum.
The school has the facility of computer Education as a part of our curriculum. Our computer laboratory is Well-designed and equipped with a sufficient number of computers, accessories, and software.
Information technology is seamlessly integrated into the way we learn. ICT enabled classroom (smart room) in the school is equipped with LCD projector and other multimedia equipments.
The spacious school library is stocked with periodicals, newspapers and an impressive index of titles, Children are encouraged to make full use of these facilities in order to foster a healthy reading habit and satiate the inquisitive mind.
The School offers sports and games facilities to every student who desires to develop his or her potential abilities and qualities of sportsmanship, team spirit, and physique. Facilities for all the major items of games and athletics are provided.
The need for safe passage of every student to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel, the school has its own fleet of school busses designed to meet the standards and staffed by trained drivers.
Our School Chapel was built in 1934 to the memory of the Rev. Lester William Hooper. There will be Morning Worship at 9:40 a.m. every day in this Chapel. Attendance to this service is not obligatory, but all who wish to attend are welcome.
Extra coaching is provided for students who are to appear for the public examination. During this result-oriented teaching for the public exam, we will be mentoring students and will focus more on every student's weak area.
